NEW MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES CONTINUE WITH CONSTRUCTION

Election campaign activities and promises of politicians are behind us. New authorities in the City and Nis municipalities take over the initiative. The Mayor of Nis spoke about it in Palilula Municipality during his visit. In the discussion with Boban Dzunic, president of the Municipality, said that he had ordered that Public Enterprise Directorate for city construction of the City of Nis until the beginning of November this year all the works on infrastructural objects should be finished and not completed in this municipality.

Thanks to the initiative of Municipal authorities of Palilula and Mayor these hot August days three streets in Donje Medjurovo got pavement. Streets: Boris Kidric, Djura Jaksic and Branko Bjegovic in this settlement are now wide and with pavement traffic roads. Ten more streets in Novo Selo, Cokot and Medjurovo are completed within the estimated term. The resources are provided from the National investment plan and the rest of 12 million from the City budget.

Although the works in these locations have started in April then stopped in the time of elections, according to the words of Palilula president Boban Dzunic, these works continue. Palilula will be again big construction location, on its way to realization of strategic development aim, and that is `economically developed community` integrated in global streams, attractive for life and work characterized by flexible work market, competent human resources and rich cultural identity`.
